TREMPEALEAU — A man is in custody Friday after an armed robbery at Citizen’s First Bank in the village of Trempealeau.
According to a Trempealeau Police Department press release, a male suspect, later identified as Graham Ness, 24, came into the bank at 1:29 p.m., placed a handgun on the counter and told the employee to place all the money into the bag. He then left the scene in a gold Dodge Neon.
Officers found Ness and the vehicle near Trempealeau Mountain Golf Course on state Hwy. 35 near Fairway Lane after he crashed the car, according to police. No one was injured.
