
The Appleton-area will gain new commercial development soon. A unanimous vote by City officials decided to spend $2.6 million to build the Fox Cities Exhibition Center. Read the details from Post Crescent:
The two contracts passed unanimously Wednesday with little fanfare or discussion.
“I couldn’t be more proud of our team in reviewing the RFPs (requests for proposal),” Mayor Tim Hanna said. “I can speak on behalf of the team that we really felt like we were in a no-lose situation when we went through interviews.”
Zimmerman Architectural Studios was the highest-rated and most costly bid of six submitted for design and engineering services, at a cost of $2 million.
