The first ever lantern festival, China Lights, at the Boerner Botanical Gardens in Hales Corners will be extended through November 6.

The overwhelming popularity of the festival encouraged officials at Milwaukee County Parks, Park People of Milwaukee County and Travel Wisconsin to extend the festival, celebrating Asian culture featuring 40 larger-than-life sculptural lantern displays, stage performances, activities, cultural displays and Asian-inspired food and beverages.

Tickets can be purchased online at www.chinalights.org, at the on-site box office during the event, or at a park location.

Prices for adults (age 18-59): $15. Senior (age 60+): $10. Child (age 5-17): $10. Young Child (Under 5): Free.

China Lights will be open through November 6, Tuesday – Sunday from 5:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. at Boerner Botanical Gardens, in Whitnall Park at 9400 Boerner Drive, Hales Corners, WI.
