Kohl’s Charge credit card customers have something extra to smile about this holiday season.

The Menomonee Falls based retailer has officially launched Kohl’s Pay, its own mobile pay application that allows Kohl’s Charge credit card holders to pay for items using their mobile device at all Kohl’s retail stores.

Biz Journals reports:

The retailer began working on the product earlier this year and piloted the mobile payment service in 30 stores with select customers in Wisconsin, California and Ohio, a spokeswoman said. The new mobile payment platform is only available for those shoppers with Kohl’s Charge cards — Kohl’s said it has more than 25 million active Kohl’s Charge customers — and it allows consumers to apply all of their Kohl’s promotions, Kohl’s Cash and Yes2You Rewards through a single transaction from the mobile device at checkout.

“We’re combining value and convenience by bringing together the incredible savings opportunities that our customers love like Kohl’s Cash and our Yes2You Rewards loyalty program with the ability to pay with a Kohl’s Charge, all from your mobile device,” said Ratnakar Lavu, Kohl’s (NYSE: KSS) chief technology officer, in a news release.
