Impact Seven, has been awarded $1.4 million through the Community Development Financial Institution Fund’s Financial Assistance Program.
The award will be used towards Impact Seven’s initiative of providing technical assistance for small business expansions and community development projects that create jobs in low-income communities in Wisconsin.
According to a statement from Impact Seven, past awards have supported projects like a manufacturing facility in Superior, WI, and a metal plating company that resulted in 22 jobs for low-income residents in Milwaukee.
Impact Seven is one of the largest non-profit developers of affordable housing in Wisconsin.
