A new Sendik’s grocery store is preparing to open next week, Nov. 15. The 42,000-square-food store is along a popular stretch of businesses on Miller Park Way.
The Sendik’s at 1740 Miller Park Way, is part of a 4.6-acre development that will include a Goodwill store and an Applebee’s restaurant.
Sendik’s plans to open five other locations in the next 12 to 15 months.
Milwaukee Business Journal reports:
“We’re proud to help complete the final piece that brings Miller Park Way to life just in time for the busy holiday shopping season,” said co-owner Ted Balistreri, in a news release. “As we look ahead to the coming year, we’re excited about the opportunity to serve a growing customer base that is responding to personalized service, outstanding food options, and our local, family owned and operated approach.”
Sendik’s Food Markets, owned by the Balistreri family, operates 13 stores throughout southeastern Wisconsin. The Whitefish Bay-based supermarket chain plans to open two Fresh2GO smaller-format locations in Greendale and Hales Corners, and stores in Brookfield, Muskego and Waukesha.
