Imagine being notified via social media that you’ve been accepted to college. Well, that’s what is happening to new students this fall at the University of Wisconsin Green Bay. The University is using Snapchat, a popular social media application to notify students of their admission. Snapchat has the tag-line of “Life’s more fun in the moment.”
According to BuzzFeed News:
“Snaps are sent to admitted students that have shared their Snapchat usernames with the university,” the school’s social media specialist told BuzzFeed News.
