Citizen Action of Wisconsin announced more Affordable Care Act rallies in multiple cities across Wisconsin.
Congressional Republicans’ first priority in this new legislative session is to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act.
Without offering another viable option, House Speaker Paul Ryan announced a plan to defund Planned Parenthood. He continued to use the Republican talking point saying the Affordable Care Act has failed the American people. He said, “Democrats are trying to scare Americans into trying to keep Obamacare,” calling the ACA a “failing law.”
Senator Tammy Baldwin is teaming up with progressive health care advocates, Citizen Action of Wisconsin to sponsor a rally in Milwaukee as part of national day of action to tell Republicans to not leave people’s health and access to quality care in limbo.
The national day of action is call on Republican legislators to protect Medicare, Medicaid and health reform, improving our healthcare system, not repealing it.
