MILWAUKEE – March is staying true to it’s name and coming in like a lion. We’ve enjoyed spring-like temperatures for most of February, weather so abnormal that a few golf courses opened in Milwaukee County.
According to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel
Rain will turn to snow in the Milwaukee area late Wednesday morning and winds will pick up, but the roads should be okay for the afternoon commute, the National Weather Service said.
A band of messy weather will extend from Madison through Door County. A winter weather advisory was dropped for Dane, Jefferson, Waukesha and Milwaukee counties.
“Main snow for the Milwaukee metro will be this afternoon but with lesser amounts,” the weather service said, adding that the advisory was dropped because of the “likelihood of pavement temperatures remaining above freezing.”
