MILWAUKEE – Construction on the new Milwaukee Bucks arena is coming along nicely. So nice, in fact, the arena just secured its first major national event: the 2022 NCAA men’s basketball tournament’s first-and second-round games.
The NCAA men’s basketball tournament is no stranger to Milwaukee. The current home of the Bucks, the BMO Harris Bradley Center hosted tournament games, which drew in 55,000 college basketball fans and left a $6 million impact on the city.
The new arena will be completed by the 2018-’19 season.
