Wisconsin loses vital partner in solving crimes

For years, investigators in Wisconsin have heavily relied on a crime lab in Texas to support their work. Due to cuts at the federal level, the University of North Texas Health Science Center notified medical examiners from across the United States that the could no longer accept DNA submissions.

This means that cold cases and missing persons cases could take longer to solve.
